YAY dog!'s mission is to help people live successfully and happily with their dogs. Clare Reece-Glore, experienced dog trainer and owner/operator of YAY dog!, accomplishes this mission by providing individual coaching (for people) and training (for dogs). The YAY dog! mission is driven by Clare's belief in three things:

• It's important for people to understand what their dogs are trying to communicate. This is why Clare emphasizes teaching clients how to read canine behavior.

• Your dog is special, and the relationship you share is unique. For this reason, Clare tailors her approach to the specific needs of your friendship. Her sessions revolve around kind, collaborative, and resourceful strategies.

• In order for your dog to be happy in the real world, training needs to take place in the real world. Clare provides multiple strategies to help solve behavior issues. This helps your dog adapt to everyday environments, which are often distracting and unpredictable.

 

About Clare

Clare is a different breed of Sophia Yin (1966-2014), Jenn Shryock, and Kyra Sundance.  trainer. She blends her insights from corporate training with those she's gained through years of experience with dogs, horses, and cats. Clare's approach draws from a broad range of experience including her work with a veterinary clinic. She has also volunteered extensively at shelters, rescues, and service dog organizations like Vets To Vets United. A lifelong equestrian, Clare regularly attends natural horsemanship clinics, which shapes her dog training insights in surprising and effective ways. Her certification is through the National Association of Dog Obedience Instructors (NADOI #1112). She is a professional member of the International Association of Canine Professionals (IACP). She also attends workshops with dog experts like Dr. Ian Dunbar, John Sparks, Brenda Aloff,  Dr.
