Live happily with a dog!
Clare coaches people and trains dogs according to 3 principles:
Communication: Your dog communicates in so many subtle and specific ways-- and reads YOU brilliantly. Clare teaches you to read canine behavior as well your dog reads you!
Uniqueness: Your dog is special, and so is the relationship you share; Clare tailors each session around kind, collaborative strategies that build confidence. While we train commands you want your dog to learn, Clare also coaches YOU to improve behavior issues and enhance your relationship with your dog.
Holistic Problem-Solving: Clare brings different elements together--from food to exercise and breed background--to help your dog thrive physically and emotionally in the real world. Specifically, she focuses on:
-
teaching your dog to calm and regulate themself using TBTE (Training Between the Ears) strategies developed by Mark McCabe . Relaxing more fully is a key skill that can help your dog get along in the world more easily.
-
improving yours dog's physical and emotional comfort by analyzing their movements using Maryna Ozuna's Movement Markers (TM). Maryna's work uses simple exercises that help dogs become more balanced in both body and behavior.
